Advent eLearning recent platform updates include an optimized user experience offering improved efficiency and ease of use. These updates include:
Invoice Configuration Update
Agency users will now have the option to choose whether their accounts are configured with the “Is Invoice” box for indignant case invoicing. This will allow agencies that deploy defendant- paid programs to forgo fees, or to adjust fees to sliding scales, on a case-by case basis upon indigency evaluations. Agencies that choose to turn this functionality off will no longer have the box appear on the screen when adding users.
Custom Registration Fields
To provide greater account configuration flexibility, Agencies will now have the option to add up to two custom fields on account’s self-registration screens. The custom fields are text fields (not notes fields) that allow the institution to capture information to appear on the assignment detail page. The information captured will also appear on the institution users’ ‘Pending Application’ table as well as ‘Pending Dispositions’ table if so configured.
Agency User Report Changes
Previously titled ‘Ad-hoc Assignment Report’ has been updated to ‘Assignment Report’.
‘Resend Enrollment’ Button Disabled on Paid Items
Agency users will no longer have access to the ‘Resend Enrollment’ checkbox via the ‘Unit Detail’ screen once an item is paid. Previously, checking this option would put paid items back into ‘Entered’ status, which would display the ‘Pay Now’ button to students who already paid. This update should minimize user confusion and eliminate unnecessary errors.
Finalize/Email’ Button Disabled after clicking
For users of the plea reduction functionality, the ‘Finalize and Email’ button will now become disabled after the ‘Plea Reduction Summary’ page is completed and the email is sent. This will prevent Agency Users from inadvertently resending the email to defendants.
AIM Units Updates
Instructions on the student homepage on Auto Insurance Monitoring (AIM) units have been modified to remove verbiage instructing students to Upload Proof of Insurance document. To eliminate confusion, students who are assigned monitoring units will no longer have access to the upload proof link.
Report Changes
When agency users access the “View Student Responses” screen from the ‘Reports’ menu, the search parameter “Citation Number” has been updated to “Case Number”. Additionally, ‘Hide Search’ button will no longer be available on the page.
‘Site User’ Page Update
The ‘Site Users’ page will now default to displaying the search criteria options without Agency Users having to click ‘Show Search’. Previously, Agency Users had to expand ‘Show Search’ to locate a record when accessing this page.
